Our ward covers 3 areas in Swansea these are; Craig Cefn Parc, Felindre and Garnswllt and Council is comprised of 12 seats across all wards. Each ward has Councillors representing it and these are divided as follows:

Craig Cefn Parc: 7; Felindre: 2; Garnswllt: 3. 

We manage 3 welfare halls, one in each location, along with various parcels of land.

We hold a full council meeting each month and these are currently only online due to insufficient seats being occupied.. You are very welcome to join us either by computer or smart device using wifi or mobile data. It is also possible for members of the community to join by telephone, please contact the clerk for joining information. Time is set aside towards the beginning of each meeting for members of the public to ask questions or raise any issues they have. We have vacancies for Councillors

Mawr Community Council currently has vacancies for Community Councillors. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in your local community, represent local residents and help make a positive difference in Mawr.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to serve as Community Councillors up to May 2027, when Mawr Community Council is due to be dissolved as part of the forthcoming community council changes.
